Apart from mobilizing investments and offering interest free capital for business purposes, an alternative financial system should also ensure the availability of interest-free loans or non-refundable financial aid to the under privileged to meet their domestic needs. AICL Charitable Trust was established in May 2002 to ensure availability of interest free loans or non refundable financial aids to the under privileged to meet their domestic needs. The Zakat share of the Company’s earnings and the funds collected through other possible means are being utilized to offer benign loans and financial aid for such charitable purposes as medical treatment, education, self employment schemes, house repair etc. The Trust has so far sanctioned Rs. 17 lakhs as interest free loans and non-refundable financial aids. The Trust serves as a platform for the privileged to extend their hands to the needy.
